For studying,  it is ok kind of college,  I mean it's an average college. College teaching staff is really good there. CBCS is the pattern followed by the college, it is located on the outskirts of Delhi. The placements are only facilitated for the Honours students, but still, you can analyse on your own that, no graduate gets internship or placement. You need to do post graduation or any other professional or diploma degree to get a placement.

One of the colleges which are at the lowest ranks in Delhi University..as per academic excellence. Moreover, the crowd of students is quite rustic and too many politics and hooliganism.

Delhi person go their as a last resort when he/she cannot get the admission in other famous colleges, Moreover girls try to stay away from this college.

Swami Shardhanand College is not a good option for B.Com

Placements : Placements are not good. They are very less amount of placements as there is no placement cell in the college. But there is a initiative to organise placement cell. Otherwise placement is nil. There is very urgent need of placement cells in the college. There is very much problem for the students to join in the reputed companies.

Infrastructure : Infrastructure is not so good. Classrooms are untidy and washrooms are also poorly maintained. Infrastructure needs to be maintained. Canteen facility is very poorly maintained. There is very less amount of food available and very little amount of quality.

Faculty : Faculty is good enough. They provide a valuable amount of knowledge and good learning. They provide a good platform to grow. Some teachers help the students in the future studies. They provide a good scope and advise for future and current education. There is no exposure to industry. There are no teaching methods used such as smart learning.
