Also as you have mentioned NMAT phillipines , then it is National medical admission test for phillipines , which is for MBBS and there is no relation between the syllabus of  MBBS entrance exam and MBA entrance exam. So , i have given you answer on the basis of NMAT which is for admission in MBA in NMIMS.

If we consider just the syllabus of NMAT and CAT , then the syllabus is more or less same. But if you are preaparing for CAT , then you will be automatically prepared for NMAT but it does not go the other way round as the level of all the sections in NMAT except quant section are comparatively easier than CAT. So , yoy have to prepare for a harder level of questions in order to get a seat in CAT.

CAT EXAM :

Quantitative Aptitude Number Systems, Number Series, LCM and HCF, Time and Work, Mixtures and Alligations, Ratios and Proportions, Simple and Compound Interest, Percentages, Surds and Indices, Permutations and Combinations, Mensuration 

NMAT EXAM :

Language Skills
