Yes, it is good book for JEE chemistry preparation. You should also go through NCERT books to complete your syllabus and to build strong fundamentals.

MTG is a good book for JEE Main Chemistry but firstly I would suggest you to go through well with NCERT books after that go for other option.

Other books you can also prefer

Organic Chemistry – Morrison Boyd.
Organic Chemistry – O.P Tandon.

Modern Approach to Chemical Calculations – R.C. Mukherjee

Numerical Chemistry – P. Bahadur
