If you are interested in something you will do best in that field for sure. There is not that much scope in the chemical engineering field but if yiu are interested in tjis field you can have best opportunities.

My brother did chemical engineering from NIT Warangal and now he is working with a big drug company with a good salary.

So everything lies in you and you can always make a difference.
