Log books may or may not be provided in the exam, but the necessary log values will be written in the QUESTION PAPER itself.

Also you dont have to use log books, just learn the values of log of 2,3,5,7 to the base 10 and the value of log 2,3,5 to the base e. You will be able to Approximate the log values of any other number by just learning these log values.

Which exam are you talking about ?

If you are talking about jee, then no log book is allowed and such questions won't be asked.
