There can be possibilities where you don't really need to study 11th books. Since, you have not mentioned clearly so i am not able to direct you the right answer.
As per my knowledge and experience books from class 9, 10, 11, 12 play a very crucial role.
Specially books of classes 11th and 12th.

For UPSC class 9, 10, 11, 12th books are required.
For JEE and NEET mostly 11th and 12th syllabus is required.
Basically, books from our school are the core things inorder to understand a concept.
They are a foundation for our basis.
