Hello Rakesh,

Civil engineering and Architecture are two really different branches and hence it is not advisable to pursue Architecture after doing Civil as you must have already spent 4 years for B.tech and B.Arch is for 5 years (which sums up to 9 years in total!). I will instead recommend you to do your masters in Planning (M.Plan) or M.Arch in any of the streams of your choice so that you get a touch of Architecture also and have your master degree too. However, the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi-110002, provides specialization options for meritorious civil engineering graduates in its M.Arch. program and related fields.
