Yes there is a way you can apply for the college after the date has passed, if the institution is private you can contact the college authorities and ask if any seats are left vacant and if there will any you might get the direct admission in that seat and you can go for the course.

But there is disadvantage of that seat which you get through direct admission, that are you might have to pay an extra admission fees for the seat and the scholarships offered by government are more likely to be not applicable for you.
