Hello there
No, there is no such additional criteria for getting admission in mining engineering in NITs.
Criteria for all branches of Engineering is same whether it is IITs, NITs, IIITs or GFTIs.
Mining engineering is an excellent branch with various growing job opportunities.
If you are getting Mining engineering in any of the good NITs, then you should go for that.
