Hi Sayuj.

E.C.E and Electronics and Communication Engineering is the same. There is another branch called Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering which mainly deals with making prototypes of integrated components where as E.C.E or Electronics and Communication Engineering deals with the reception of dats, making and experimenting with communication devices like transmitter, receiver etc.

As per your question, for E.C.E and Electronics and Communication Engineering have the same opportunities and are considered to be having more scope as they are integrated with the knowledge of both hardware and software and also comprise of having wide variety of interdisciplinary subjects among which we can choose to study for higher studies like post graduation or doctoral studies.

Hope you found your answer here and a little more information too. All the best!
