Hello aspirant
There are no such different rules for selection of freshers and droppers, both are treated equally.
In case two people have scored same marks then there are certain tie breaker to rule out who will come first.
Below mentioned process are followed in order
•Candidates who have obtained a higher score in Biology in NEET 2021, will be considered first, over the other candidate/s.
•Candidates with a Higher Score in Chemistry will be ranked higher than others.
•Candidates with the least number of incorrect answers in all subjects including Biology, Chemistry and Physics, they will be chosen over the other candidate/s.
•Candidates who are older in age will be given preference over the younger ones.
As per the statements that have been mentioned by the National Testing Agency, the ranking of the candidate will be initially determined based on the scores obtained in Biology and Chemistry. Following these, in cases where the candidates cannot be shortlisted using the scores obtained in the examination, candidates will further be shortlisted taking into consideration the number of answers that are incorrect, following which they will further be shortlisted depending on their age
Hope this information helps you out
