Hi aspirant,

NITs are centrally funded Institution and hence provide the following fee remission or waiver to the underprivileged students.

• There is complete tution fee waiver for SC/ST/PH students irrespective of their annual family income.
• There is complete remission or waiver of tuition fees for general and OBC candidates whose annual family income is less than 1 lakh.
• There is two-third remission of tution fee for general and OBC candidates whose annual family income is between 1 to 5 lakh per annum.
