Dear Aspirant,

Total fees of IIT consists of tuition fees,caution deposit,placement fees,hostel fee,mess fee etc.The tuition fees is uniform across all IITS while the course fee for B.Tech programm is around 2-Lakh per annum for general and OBC.The SC/ST/PWD students have to pay no fees and the most economically backward students from general and OBC category(whose annual income is less than 1 lakh)will get 100% relaxation in their course fees.The other economically backward section students(whose annual income is less than 5 lakh) will get a relaxation of 2/3.
