Generally, a Master of Physiotherapy ( MPT ) cannot be pursued through conventional distance learning because it involves compulsory, intensive clinical training and extensive hands-on practical experience. Although some institutions advertise “online” MPT programmes, these are typically not recognised by official health authorities in India and do not comply with the guidelines set by the University Grants Commission – Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB).
