It depends by birth in which caste you were born, whether it is SC, ST ,OBC etc. Irrespective of the thing that your one parent might be of other caste.
You can apply for the reservation quota , if you fall under any of the reserved quota on the condition of presenting that particular certificate under which you are applying.
