Dear aspirant,

Disappointing!

Not at all like other building educational programs in India, an AME foundation does not give you a degree after effectively clearing every one of your tests; well, shock, shock! not by any means an AME permit.

You are simply given a course fulfillment declaration (otherwise called Certificate of Completion or CofC), AME test marksheets, and Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Certificate (BAMEC) issued by DGCA. After that you are left individually towards gaining a sort evaluated permit, which for the most part takes years together regardless of whether you make it to a decent aircraft/MRO as an assistant.

Generally, in the wake of spending upwards of Rs. 60,000 a semester, 3 years of diligent work examining optimal design to workshop innovation and everything else in the middle of, and scoring least 70% stamps in each subject just to clear the semesters, you are neither near being an AME (overlook graduation and higher examinations) nor employable somewhere else outside flight.

At that point starts the bad dream of finding even an unpaid temporary job by paying a strong expense in a decent association, with the desire for getting put as a lesser specialist some time or another winning not exactly a nursery worker and to pick up the base 1 year of commonsense experience on a flying machine type important to apply for Paper IV/type evaluated affirmed course, the antecedent to an AME permit. Amid this period, you will invest more energy in the landing area marshaling and ground taking care of planes than inside an overhang overhauling them.

Presently, you are helpless before the association for whether and when your structures get sent to DGCA for showing up in Paper IV/affirmed course and resulting oral cum viable tests for permit support. The most reasonable and straightforward association also will have a line of learner AMEs and experts before it's your turn. Up to that point, you are wealthy realizing your machine better regular, trusting that the line will recoil, and supplicating that the aircraft stays in business until your day has come to close down the flight discharge - for the plane and your vocation to take-off.

Thank you

Hiii..

Unlike other engineering programs you do not get a degree or diploma after completion of course. This is a certification course.

During the course one is trained to clear the licence exams conducted by DGCA (governing body for aviation) apart from the regular exams conducted by college.

Clearing of the Gov license exams are mandatory (pass Mark is 70%) to become an engineer.

Completion of the course of 3 years does not satisfy the requirements to be an engineer & may need to work as an aircraft technician for aminimumof 2 additional years on any aircraft.

Aviation sector is still unstable with most of the airlines reporting losses and hence New vacancies are scarce.

Hope you get it..
