I think now a day ,if you solely depend on your college for placement then it is too risky.i suugest you take take a
Mindaxil plan in case I don't get a campus placement.
The fees are refundable and I pay when I earn

If you are pursuing B.Tech from any Engineering colleges then the answer is Yes. Campus placement is there for all Engineering colleges where companies like TCS, Wipro, TechMahnidra, Congnizant, Accenture visit for hiring students.

Same is the case for BCA,MCA and M.Tech.

Different other degrees have different types of Placements too.
