Yes, AKTU does have an improvement exam for B.Tech students but only in some situations.

if you are a B.Tech student at AKTU and you passed a subject but got low marks, you can apply for an improvement exam  but only in the next academic year and only for theory subjects.

Who can apply:

• only final year students usually 7th or 8th semester are officially allowed to appear for improvement exams for subjects they have already passed but want better marks in.

• lower semester students 1st to 6th usually can't give improvement exams for passed subjects. They can only reappear if they failed

How to apply:

When AKTU opens the exam form portal, select the subject you want to improve.

Choose the “Improvement Exam” option.

Important:

• you can give improvement only once for a subject.
