As per some ex students, they indeed had to sign a bond of 5 years, committing to the college during which you can be placed in any corner of the country. The pay is as per the central government norms and thus can be expected to be very comfortable but yes, you will be tied according to the bond for the 5-years of your life. Hope it helps
