Before year of admission of the girl quota 14%in every  Nits  till 2017  but MHRD  decided and finalized that we need to improve the NIT Seats for the girls from 14%to 17% in the year  of 2017_ 18and after17_20%for the academic year of 201819.
2016 year, of 17,061 total students ,2,440 female students took admission into the 31 NITs across the country.
