Various scholarships are available for engineering students. Each state provides separate scholarship for their domicile students.
Like Uttar Pradesh provide , Maharashtra , Madhya Pradesh provides scholarship for students of their states.
These scholarships in India for engineering students are based on students merits, previous standards scores and their families annual income.
There are other various scholarships available like Ratan Tata scholarship for engineering students , IOCL scholarship , ONGC scholarship , NTPC scholarship , central sector scholarship and many more.

Yes scholarship is available but there are many types of scholarship which have different terma and conditions.
Like scholarship based on the income ; category ; state etc.
Some scholarship is provided by your state base on your category or your state also.
May be your college provide scholarship based on your aggregate during graduation.
Etc.
Some scholarship are non governmental and provide by some societies .so you have to surf and search for the scholarship and ask your senior or neighborhs and friends about it.

There are many scholarships offered to the engineering students in India.

UGC Scholarship for rank holders:This scholarship is offered to those who have secured 1st and 2nd rank in university gets the scholarship from UGC to carry on their post-graduation studies.

OPJEMS Scholarship:This scholarship is offered every year to students from 40 engineering & management institution. The shortlisted students will take an online test to qualify for the scholarship.

IET Scholarship: This scholarship is offered by IET for 2nd & 3rd year Engineering students in India. The scholarships worth Rs. 8 lacs is given to the selected students.

NTPC Scholarship:The scholarship program is for SC, ST & PH students who are studying at IITs, NITs, and BITS and have completed their first year at the respective college. The scholarship amount is Rs. 4000 per month.

TOEFL Scholarship: The scholarship for pursuing undergraduate/ graduate degree program in institutes which accept TOEFL score in India, Australia, Mainland China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.

Aditya Birla Scholarship: This scholarship is offered by Aditya Birla Group for pursuing studies in IITs, IIMs, BITS Pilani and Law Colleges in India.

GE Foundation Scholarship: This scholarship is given to 2nd-year students of the selected engineering colleges which are MIT Manipal, VIT Univerity Vellore, IIT Gandhinagar, BITS Pilani and Tezpur University Assam.

Cargill Global Scholars Programme: The scholarship is given to students of selected engineering colleges in India which are IIT Delhi, DTU, IIT Bombay, BIT Mesra, NIT Tiruchirapalli.

Google Anita Borg Scholarship:The scholarship is given to female undergraduate/postgraduate students who are pursuing studies in the field of science or closely related field based on their academic performance and leadership qualities.
