Hello,
Cbse has already declared the syllabus for JEE MAINS 2018 tgen why would any one make assumptions.You can download/check it's syllabus from jee mains official website.
However,as far as important topics is concerned,then yes it is made as per previous years question papers.
You can plan and prepare accordingly for jee mains from these.
