Madras University is offering programmes in various fields like Historical Science, Social Sciences, Economics, Political and International Studies, Fine Arts and Performing Arts, English, Mathematics, Management, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Information and Communication Studies, Nano Science and Photonics, Physical Education etc. Admission to these courses is given on the basis of the student's academic record, national level examination and interview etc.
