No UPSEE is not connected to JEE MAINS. 

Though both are engineering entrance exam but JEE MAIN is national level exam whose score is accepted by many colleges across the country. It has 90 questions 30 each of PCM and it is of 180 minutes. Through this you get colleges like NITs And IIITs.

UPSEE is state level engineering entrance exam which is conducted for admission in colleges of UP. It consists of 150 questions 50 each of PCM and it is of 180 minutes. Through UPSEE you get colleges of UP like IET Lucknow, KNIT SULTANPUR, GOLGOTIA etc.

Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) is a state-level exam conducted by AKTU (Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University) for admission to various professional courses offered at UG and PG level. Through UPSEE, candidates can secure admission in about 841 institutions/colleges affiliated to AKTU along with other universities in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Around 93 colleges in Ghaziabad and 75 colleges in Gautam Budh Nagar are affiliated to AKTU.
is conducted for admissions to various courses including Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch), Bachelor of Design (B.Des), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT), Bachelor of Fashion and Apparel Design (BFAD), Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), Master of Business Administration (MBA/MBA Integrated) and Master of Computer Application (MCA/MCA Integrated) courses. Along with these many programmes, UPSEE 2019 will also conduct lateral entry admissions in the second year to the courses of B.Tech, B. Pharm and MCA.
