UPSEE counselling is done on the basis of both general and OBC as well as other reserved categories ranks. The reserved category candidates can take seats that are unreserved and also the seats that are reserved for candidates of that category. So, if suppose you can get a seat on the basis of both general and category rank, then you will be given a seat on the basis of the general rank and not he reserved category rank.

The Central Admission Board conducted the Uttar Pradesh Engineering Entrance Exam (UPSEE) on April 21, 2019. The answer keys have been released. The candidates have to apply via the online mode by filling the application form. The candidates could also register as EWS candidates and the candidates who had already registered before March 15th were also allowed to change their category to EWS.
