Varanasi is just an okay place for doing CA. It is not like student of Varanasi does not become good chartered accountant..but as a student if you compare yourself and a ca student of cities like mumbai, delhi or pune you'll see a wide gap. This gap is because of the coaching institutes and firm in big cities. The kind of work and exposure offered by ca firms in big cities is appreciable. You get to learn a lot. Also if you talk about Varanasi then you'll have less exposure and options in terms of coaching institutes and Firm. Also the stipend offered to articles in Varanasi is way too less. If you stay in Varanasi, you are also cutting down the option of big four auditor companies for article training.
