No not at all that WBCHSE and NCERT books are same. Actually now for 12th level the syllabus of wbchse,  isc and cbse all are same so thats why contents are same. But NCERT books are more relevant and efficient in all the subjects. The conceptual thoughts is going deeper in a nice way. If one can able to complete ncert chapters then it is easy for the student to do his or her preparation of borads and jee or neet in a parallel way. In tgat case ncert biology is very much important for NEET.

So try to have ncert books with your text books.

No it is not same might be it is similar or little bit different but CBSE is the educational board which prescribes the NCERT books in its curricular. Almost every school affiliated from CBSE follows the NCERT .
