It is recognized by UGC and there on the Curriculum of  AICTE, Ministry of AYUSH, NCTE, and PCIis followed. Thus on the 6 of August 2007, the University made a modest start when Dr. K Gnakan was recommended to be the Chancellor of William Carey University.

It is recognised as private university of UGC but not under AICTE
