For cbse board it is compulsory for other board you must be under top 20 percentile .

Yes , it is very important for you to score 75 percent marks in boards to be eligible for nit and IIT colleges .

Hello Karan,

Actually, you should have secure at least 75% marks in the 12th class board exam, or be in top 20 percentile in the 12th class exam conducted by the respective Boards. Then only you can eligible to get NIT colleges and to appear in the jee advanced exam. And for other colleges below or equivalent to these percentages.

Yeah definitely inorder to take the NIT /IIT / IIIT / CFTI colleges you need to have the atleast score of 75% I'm your Class 12th respective board if you are from an General Category and for the other categories students the marks may get vary. But yaah without having the 75% also you can be able to take the private institutions via the JEE mains score.
