Hello,

Mechanical engineering is one of the oldest and preferred engineering branch by the students. After completion of course, students can work in automotive, aerospace, power generation and almost all manufacturing industries.
I would say that future cannot be predicted and nothing cannot be said about the salary now. Salary vary according to the job profile. Salary also depend on the company/industry with which you are working and your skills and capabilities.
Focus on your studies, get admission in any good college and the opt for the course in which you are interested.

Good Luck!
