No, it is not very hard. If you have good roadmap and ability to do then you can crack without coaching. You must have dedication and focus to crack the exam. Source to complete is huge but with right time table you can complete. Basically focus on 11&12th NCERT books and then go for some books of renowned authors. Have less resources and complete them. You can crack it without coaching.
