The private candidates who are going to appear in the theory papers for improvement are not required to appear in the practical examination. The marks scored in the previous year of the CBSE Class 12 practical Exam will be added to the marks scored in the improvement examination. According to the CBSE board, the private candidates will not be allowed to offer such subjects which involve practical work.

So If you got low marks due to any reason but got good marks in practical exam,you don't have to reappear for your practical exam.

You just have to appear for the theory examination,as per CBSE rules.
