The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) 10th Science syllabus for 2024-25 is not yet officially released. However, based on previous years' syllabi, we can expect the following topics to be covered:

Physics:

• Mechanics: Motion, force, work, energy, power, gravitation, fluid mechanics, simple harmonic motion, waves, sound.
• Heat and Thermodynamics: Temperature, heat, thermal expansion, calorimetry, laws of thermodynamics, heat engines.
• Light and Optics: Reflection, refraction, lenses, optical instruments, dispersion, wave optics.
• Electricity: Electric charges, electric fields, electric potential, capacitance, current, resistance, Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's laws, magnetic effects of current, electromagnetism, electromagnetic induction, alternating current.
• Modern Physics: Atomic structure, radioactivity, nuclear energy.

Chemistry:

• Physical Chemistry: Chemical reactions, stoichiometry, solutions, electrochemistry, chemical kinetics, surface chemistry.
• Inorganic Chemistry: Periodic table, chemical bonding, s-block elements, p-block elements, d-block elements, f-block elements, coordination compounds.
• Organic Chemistry: Hydrocarbons, organic compounds containing halogens, alcohols, phenols, ethers, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids, amines, biomolecules, polymers.

Biology:

• Diversity of Living Organisms: Classification of living organisms, plant kingdom, animal kingdom.
• Structure and Function: Cell, tissues, organs, systems, human anatomy and physiology.
• Genetics and Evolution: Mendel's laws of inheritance, DNA, RNA, genetic code, evolution.
• Plant Physiology: Photosynthesis, respiration, transport in plants, growth and development.
• Animal Physiology: Nutrition, digestion, respiration, circulation, excretion, locomotion, nervous system, endocrine system, reproduction.
• Ecology: Ecosystem, biodiversity, environmental issues.
