Hi LVM, the one word answer to this question would be Java. Java is always superior and still has a lot of usage in most of the service as well as product Companies. Most of the development projects are basedon JAVA, as it is a programming language unlike devops. The main ain of a person who wants to be oart of computer and IT field is, he shoukd have a very good experience working in development projects which paves way to be part of product companies. Wheras devops is a completely different field and also not having much relevance to development stuffs, it kind of deals with enhancements and support works which does not give much exposure in the long run.
