Jee main seat allotment is based on category rank or crl

Allotment is based on both ranks ( category as well as general )

According to your Rank and preferences ; that college will be alloted to you which is in higher preference by considering your both rank.
Like if you are getting preference number 5 according to your general Rank ; but due to your category rank you are getting 4 th preference than you will allot preference 4th. And vice versa.

Hi ! See JEE main seat allotment occurs on the basis of general merit list as well as on the basis of category wise rank. There is a seperate list of sc category ranking list as well as St category ranking list. Not only this there is a seperate category rank list for OBC and ews. So hope you understand and best of luck to you.
