Jharkhand State Open School has been declared as bogus and is not considered as a valid board in the  country. The bench at Lucknow has declared that the certificates issued by the board is no longer valid and is not to be considered. Students were also denied the admission from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University.

JSOS is no longer considered as a valid board.
