It is a state level entrance exam conducted to grant admission into Bachelor’s level Engineering courses such as Dairy Technology and Agriculture Engineering. Candidates who have given JEE Main can also apply and take admission in B.E. courses, however, this is only applicable for the ones who are not domicile of Chattisgarh.There are 3 courses that are offered. The eligibility criteria for different courses are given below:

For Engineering:

Candidates must have cleared 12th grade from school affiliated to Chhattisgarh or equivalent board.

The student must qualify in Physics, chemistry, mathematics and one of the technical vocational subjects in the qualifying exam.

Minimum marks for the general category is 45% an40% for reserved category(SC/ST/OBC/PH)

For Agricultural Engineering:

Candidates must be above 16 years of age on 31st December of admission year.

He/she must have cleared 12th grade from school affiliated to Chhattisgarh or equivalent board.

Minimum marks for the general category is 50%(PCM+ English) an40% for reserved category(SC/ST/OBC/PH)

Candidates appearing for final exams are also eligible to apply for the exam.

For Dairy Technology:

Candidate must be above 17 years of age on 31st December 2019

·Applicant must have cleared 12th grade from school affiliated to Chhattisgarh or equivalent board.

Minimum marks for the general category is 50%(PCM+ English) an40% for reserved category(SC/ST/OBC/PH)

Candidates appearing for final exams are also eligible to apply for the exam.

Hi Narayan,

             The Chattisgarh Professional Examination Board conducts CG PET for admissions in many UG engineering courses offered by the participating institution in Chattisgarh. The subjects asked for CG PET are as follows,

• Physics,
• Chemistry,
• Mathematics. 

The examination will be offline based. It'll be a 3-hour examination with 150 questions. And the total paper is of 150 marks. No negative marking will be awarded for the wrong answer.
