Hi,

The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course, also known as Ayurvedacharya, imparts education in the science and systems of Ayurveda. The Undergraduate course, which comprises four and a half years of academic study and one year of internship, provides rigorous theoretical and practical training to enable students to become competent Ayurvedic practitioners in the future, either as physicians (Kayachikitsa) or as surgeons (Shalyachikitsa) or in academia as scholars or researchers. BAMS graduates can go on to pur- sue further studies in MD Ayurveda and MS Ayurveda.
