Please specify the percentage, is it of 10th or 12th std.

If 42% are of 10th std board then you can opt for any diploma courses. You can do a diploma in engineering. You can get admission to polytechnic college.

If your score of 12th is 42% then

You can do B. A, CFP, CMA(commerce course), Fashion Designing.

You can also do certification courses like Tally, interior design, Graphic design, Photography, Web designing.
