According to UGC regulations, and as followed by most affiliated colleges including Munna Lal College:

You must have a master’s degree (MA/MSc/MCom or equivalent) with at least 55% marks (or 50% for reserved categories).

A BA degree is only the first step; you’ll need to complete a postgraduate degree before applying for a PhD.

Some universities may also require you to qualify UGC NET, JRF, or a university-level entrance exam.

If you’re currently a BA student and aiming for a PhD:

Complete your MA in your chosen subject.
