There are a few defence careers after tenth. The main one being the Indian Navy!

After 10 one can join the Indian Navy at entry level as a sailor. If you've completed your class tenth you are eligible to join the Indian Navy in the entry level positions like artificer apprentice within the age group of 17 - 20 years.

The candidates can enter to the Navy through non commission.
