Dear applicant,

after you`ve cleared the cut-off, that means you`ve cleared the biggest hurdle. Although that`s not all. There might be many students with same marks as yours but different marks in class X , XII as well as varying negative marking in the exam. In many exams freshers are given higher priority than repeaters and in some the opposite. Above all, there will be always more number of applicants for a perticular stream and a specific college than the number of seats available in the same. So, to be conclusive, if you`ve cleared the cutoff, that means you have a very strong chance of getting into that college with the stream of your choice, given that you`ve satisfied rest of the criteria as well.
