Most of the technological and engineering colleges in Tamilnadu for MTech classes are held in full time but Government College of Technology Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu where  Mtech classes are held in part time basis. This college has been established in 1946 and enjoying an excellent academic environment and success of its students. From the year 1987 college enjoying an autonomous status.
