There are several courses one can apply for. To be competent to study abroad, there are certain exams that one has to attempt before going and qualify with a good score such as TOEFL IELTS , etc Also to study abroad GRE is given along with some other preparatory material for interviews with departments of the foreign university. VISA, PASSPORT and other formalities etc should be cleared advance.
Most students go on student scholarships or loans, these also have an application formality procedure.
The cost of living is high there but students take up part time jobs to pay for their tuition and expenses, After scoring well and graduating, Students usually graduate and make a career over there itself.
