Postgraduate Medical degrees which candidates can opt for are MD, MS, PG Diploma, and DNB.
Candidates have to choose for specialisation after completing MBBS course.
 Postgraduate Medical Degrees (MD, MS) are of three years duration and PG Diploma courses are of two years duration.
The graduate medical degrees are required for candidate to specialize in certain fields.

Under MD and MS, candidates will have to choose a specialization. Specialization offered are as follows-
Doctor of Medicine (MD)- Anaesthesiology, Biochemistry, Dermatology, General Medicine, Paediatrics, Pharmacology, Radio-Diagnosis, etc.

Masters of Surgery (MS) - Ear, Nose and Throat, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Venerology and Leprosy, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, etc.
