Dibrugarh University, Assam offers 60 seats per batch for M.A. in history which is a 2 year long course divided into 4 semesters. 

The fee including course fee, admission fee, library and internet charges as well as safety insurance is ₹4,180/year

The syllabus is as per the UGC model syllabus and includes ancient, medieval and modern Indian History as well as world  history including topics like feminism, the Great Depression, Darwinism, the Cold War etc.
