3)Mahatma Gandhi is called "Mahatma" for his great work and greatness, which he has set for life.

4)He was a great freedom fighter and non-violent activist and during his lifetime, when he was leading the causes of India's independence from British rule, followed non-violence.

5)He inspired many Indians to work against British rule for their independence.
