Yes, you can change your category during NEET application correction window which will open from 8th August to 12th August, the details which can be edited during pertains to your personal details, choice of exam centre, choice of medium of question paper and academic details of 10th/11th/12th standards, in order to edit the details you will be required to visit the official website at neet.nta.nic.in , enter the login credentials, click on the link for NEET application form correction, make the required changes, and go through all the details thoroughly as once this opportunity gets over you won't be able to make changes further after correction window is closed, click on preview and submit the same, an OTP will be  sent to your registered mobile number which you have to enter, finally take a print out of the correction slip for future references, check out our page at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-application-form-correction-guide to know more details regarding this.

Yes, it is possible to change the category as per the central list of categories. However as per the rules changing the category may involve the higher fee. After changing the category you have to pay the fees according to the fees as alloted category wise
