Placental hormones -
a. HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) - Promotes growth of corpus luteum and secretions of estrogen and progesterone by corpus luteum.

b. Human Somatomammotropin - Promotes development of some fetal tissues.

c. Estrogen - Promotes growth and development of female reproductive system and female secondary characteristics.

d. Progesterone - Stimulates secretion of uterine milk by uterine endometrial glands
