Majority of successful candidate in ssc cgl exam are b.tech holder.

The reason behind is they are considered good in maths and reasoning.also they have taken science in 12th and while preparing for the entrance exam t.b.techs almost all subjects are having application of maths.

This doesn't mean that other degree holder can't clear ssccgl . Even you do a simple courses like bsc , b.com,Ba...you can also clear ssc cgl exam the basic thing is start after your 1st year and do it seriously..

The last thing is perfect preparation can achieve anything..
